Objectives and Organization

The objective of this summit is to bring together the driving elements of innovation in Colorado Springs including the educational sector, business sector (large, small, and start-up) and military sector. The workshop will discuss the innovation process and highlight examples of innovations in the area. It is a networking event where innovators can get together and exchange ideas and make new connections, activities vital to innovation.

There will be a few plenary presentations, panels for large and small business/start-up innovation, a poster session (highlighting local innovations and research) and a networking session with some innovative approaches to help get community members better integrated.

One objective of the panels will be to make concrete suggestions on how to improve the innovation processes in Colorado Springs.

Location

The workshop will be held in the Carriage House at the Penrose House Conference Center, at 1661 Mesa Avenue, in Colorado Springs. Directions and map to the Penrose House:
    From I-25, take exit 138 (Circle Drive - Lake Avenue) west to The Broadmoor Hotel. Turn right onto Lake Circle. At the stop sign, turn left onto Mesa Avenue. Stay on Mesa as it forks to the right and follow the sign to Penrose House. The driveway is on the left hand side.

Registration

To maintain the interactive nature of the workshop, space is limited to the first 60 applicants. The workshop is expected to sell out. Early registration, on or before Oct 15 is expected to be $50.00 including the cost of lunch.

On site registration will be considered ( only if space is available) and will probably be considerably higher.
